Parenting advice can be scarce and you may have never taken the time to look for it. So you want some parenting advice, how do you go about getting some? Some of it is practically pure junk. Some of it is very insightful and you may use it on your children. But how do you know which parenting advice is good and which is bad? You can view here for more information about finding the right parenting advice.
The parenting advice my wife got from Ask Mom was almost totaled in its savor. Some of it even was almost priceless. One mom told her that as a new mom she was hearing all this wonderful new mom talk about the fact that a mom should set aside every moment to hold and kiss her kids.
Another mom went so far as to say that parenting advice should include saying "no". That seems pretty harsh and I would have to agree that it is harsh for kids especially young ones. But as parents we have to deal with the reality of all that and it is part of being a parent. And some parents will tell you that they were never troubled as babies and never lost their temper.
Does this mean that all parents are horrible parents? No, it does not. But there are good parents out there and bad parents out there and we have to accept that as a parent is part of the parenting experience. It is okay to take parenting advice but if it is really good advice then why would any mom want to listen. Babies do not come with parenting advice so we might as well get some elsewhere.
Good parenting advice does not always mean that you have to be a super-parent. Parenting advice sometimes means that you have to be a reasonable parent. You have to give your kids every moment of your life so they grow up accepting it as something very normal. So instead of feeling jealous about having your kids around all the time and thinking every second is the most precious moment you can do something about it and that means every moment with your kids.
We can also look at parenting advice in a different perspective. While having more kids may make parents happy it can also be a burden. We have to be a good parent first before anything else because we will also have to be a good spouse and a good friend to our kids. We are responsible for our own personal futures, so we better make the most of it.
